Official Product Description:
Fast absorbing, overnight treatment helps repair dry, damaged lips while you sleep.
Creates a weightless barrier to combat nighttime water loss.
Wake up to healthy, more comfortable and beautiful looking lips.
Tongue In Cheek's Take: This product was certainly moisturizing, but I've had better results with other products. It is an average lip conditioner, but I wasn't overly impressed. If you don't have anything else like it, it is a good buy for $10.99. It wasn't that fast absorbing, despite the product's claims-I put it on at night and upon waking, it was still pretty 'heavy' on my lips. It had a very slick glossy feeling-not sticky, but incredibly wet. Still, my lips did look nice and soft the following day.
Tongue In Cheek's Rating: 3 1/2 out of 5 kisses.

Usually I'm never the one to have early access to stuff but I just lucked out this time! I happened to be in NYC on the 10th, and stayed a few hours later for MAC's Fashion Night Out bash. They were selling all of the Style Black Collection early!
I picked up Blackware, Black Fire, Black knight, the Grease Paint Stick, all 4 MES eyeshadows and both Cream Color Bases. The only item I've tried so far is the Black Knight Lipstick (cremesheen formula-I skipped the Mattene because I dislike matte finishes). I had already owned Night Violet, Smolder and Rapidblack Penultimate from the permanent line. Didn't try any of the skincare-it was a mad house, the only reason I managed to get in and out at a reasonable time was because I knew exactly what I was looking for.
I've included product images below-I'll do more in-depth reviews as I use the products but I was just so excited to get them that I had to share! Swatches-LEFT: Black Knight RIGHT: Grease Paint Stick (I'll have to look up the name of the color-mine doesn't have it printed, guess because it was so early...)

Another epic fail! I'm starting to think that most of Target's 'premium' makeup is really just over-priced and mediocore. I'm starting to feel really let down by a lot of it. Today's epic fail is for Pixi by Petra Energy Blush.
I tried two colors-Pick Me Up Pink, a light matte pink, and Pretty Petal, a light pink with lots of glitter. Both blushes had a stripe of a light pink highlighter. Both are deserving of the epic fail title!
Pick Me Up Pink didn't show up at all, and Pretty Petal just went on like a bunch of over-sized glitter. Very unflattering. The highlighter was fine and offered a nice light pink sheen but honestly for the retail price of $20, I'm expecting more than a sliver of highlighter.
Definitely skip these if you are in Target and looking at them. I'm an NW15 so you know if it doesn't show up one me (Pick Me Up) it probably won't show up on anyone.
Epic fail!

Tongue In Cheek's Review: This loose eyeshadow duo is a nightmare because of the sponge-tipped applicator! It makes applying nearly impossible-tons of fallout, and what DOESN'T fall out ends up being messily applied with inacuracy because the applicator doesn't fit very well into the eye crease. This review is for the shade AUSTRALIA (I think a different one is pictured). It is the forest green/peach duo. The green was gorgeous, similar to MAC's Steamy, but the Peach wasn't very pigmented and seemed like a better highlight shade than a lid shade.
The green shadow was lovely, and I would have used it alone, except for the fact that getting any onto a brush is basically impossible because of the packaging. The only thing that is going to get the shadow out of the little bottle is the included applictor or maybe a liner brush.
This is going back to Target tomorrow-if you ever stop by the NP Set display and contemplate buying this, definitely skip it. You'll just frustrate yourself with massive amounts of fallout!
EPIC FAIL.

Tongue In Cheek's Review: This mini cheek stain came included in a gift set from Tarte, but I believe it is still available for sale individually on ebay for around $10. This is the small size-it isn't the full size that is sold in Sephora. Personally, I prefer the Minis, because the full sized ones are so large that I can't imagine ever getting close to using them up!
The color is called Delighted. It looks like a scary dark burgundy in the packaging, but in reality it goes on like a sheer rosy red flush. This looks lovely on my NW15 skintone. I love the color because it is closer to red in hue than anything else I have-almost all of my cheek colors are either light pink or peachy tone.
The only issue I have with this is the application is a little time consuming. I guess I just haven't gotten the hang of it. I like to rub some off on my (clean!) fingers, and dab and buff it into my cheeks. It just takes a bit of working with it to keep from looking like a clown and to get an even distribution of color. This leaves a dewy finish without shimmer or glimmer.
The lasting power is pretty good-it stays looking vibrant nearly all day during the summer. Re-application is not necessary to maintain color vibrancy.
Tongue In Cheek's Rating: 4 out of 5 kisses. I love everything except how it can be a little difficult to apply!
